Featuring an all-new design and a high-power, 2.0L EcoBlue Diesel engine mated to an all-new efficient eight-speed automatic transmission, the new Transit Custom is designed to enhance driveability and has been awarded the prestigious 2024 ‘International Van of the Year’ award¹⁴.

Seamless connectivity

Every new Transit Custom is fitted with an embedded modem known as FordPass Connect1. Once activated, using the FordPass App on your smartphone you can locate your vehicle, check your tyre pressure, lock and unlock the doors, and even start the engine remotely. This is a business connection worth having.

Up for any challenge

Made for businesses, the new Transit Custom offers up to 1,255kg of payload² in the Trend short wheelbase and can fit up to 6.8 cubic metres³ of cargo in the Trend long wheelbase. The new Transit Custom features rear cargo barn doors that open to 180-degrees. Available in short or long wheelbase.

Ready for the road

Four Drive Modes on Trend and five on Sport, tailor your van to best cope with varying road conditions, while independent rear suspension helps improve steering precision, handling and traction. The new Transit Custom has a maximum towing capacity of 2500kg⁵. Please note that the Ford Licensed Accessory towing equipment, including a towbar frame, is not currently available for sale and is expected to be available for sale in October 2024. A mobile office

The new Transit Custom interior has been designed with comfort in mind, including a more spacious cabin and increased storage. The column-mounted shifter, electronic parking brake and flat-floor design make sliding across the front seats easy, perfect when exiting a tight spot or for getting out of the van safely. wireless charging⁶ and push-button start as standard keeps your workspace clear and uncluttered.

The new Transit Custom maximises space and practicality, with up to 3.4m load length⁷ via a smart load-through hatch in Trend long wheelbase only. The versatile load space features ultra bright LED Lights for if you're working at night or in a poorly lit environment. With a fixed bulkhead, sealed load floor, rugged lining and multiple tie-down hooks, this van is ready get the job done.

The new Transit Custom has been designed to enhance productivity. Fitted with a 13-inch Landscape Touchscreen, connect your compatible phone with Wireless Apple CarPlay^™/Android Auto^™8 and you’ll be contactable wherever work takes you. And the advanced SYNC^®4⁹ infotainment system has built-in satellite navigation with one year of Connected Navigation Services included¹⁰ to ensure you get there.

Smart Driver Assistance

The new Transit Custom comes fitted with a suite of driver assistance technologies designed to help you and your workforce while on the road.

Pre-Collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Intersection Assist^4,11

New Transit Custom can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle, cyclist or pedestrian in front of you and also while turning at intersections. If you don’t take corrective action, the system is designed to apply the brakes automatically.

Lane Keeping Aid with Lane Departure Warning⁴

New Transit Custom can provide gentle steering support to help prevent the vehicle from drifting off the road or to detect if you're unintentionally drifting out of lane.

Blind Spot Monitoring System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert⁴

This feature helps you change lanes by alerting you when a vehicle enters the blind spot zone. Cross-Traffic Alert warns of traffic approaching from the sides when the vehicle is in reverse.

Adaptive Cruise Control^4,12

Just set your cruising speed and let the new Transit Custom radar monitor the traffic ahead and slow down or speed up accordingly.

Rear View Camera⁴

The rear view camera activates automatically once you switch into reverse. The 180-degree split view acts like an extra pair of eyes. The camera can reveal objects you might have missed and helps you navigate tight parking spaces.

Reverse Brake Assist^4,13

New Transit Custom can detect if there is an object or pedestrian behind you or a vehicle about to cross at the rear. It will sound an alert and, if you don't react in time, brake for you.

2. Maximum payload for Trend Short Wheelbase Van. Subject to State and Territory regulations. Payload is defined as the Gross Vehicle Mass minus the kerb weight. Payload is the maximum combined value of occupants, cargo, added options, added structures and tow ball download (when towing). GVM must not be exceeded.

3. Maximum load volume for Trend Long Wheelbase Van. Maximum load volume method simply measures the volume of a fine-grained material such as sand or rice which can be deposited into the loadspace. Load Area Protection Kit may impact cargo area dimensions and capacities.

4. Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. May not operate at certain speeds, or in certain driving, road or weather conditions. See Owner’s Manual for more information.

5. Maximum towing capacity braked using Ford Genuine Accessory or appropriate aftermarket towing equipment, including a towbar. Subject to State and Territory regulations. To comply with these limits, occupants and / or luggage may need to be restricted to not exceed the GCM and GVM limits. 9. Don’t drive distracted. Use voice operated systems where possible and don’t use handheld devices while driving. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all SYNC features are compatible with all phones. SYNC screen appearance and functionality may change over time due to software updates.

10. Connected Built-In Satellite Navigation is a Connected Service where eligible vehicles receive 1 year of service from the Ford Express New Vehicle Warranty start date, after which time the service may cease to be available or may be subject to a subscription fee. Users must have created a FordPass App account (terms apply), have fully activated the vehicle's FordPass Connect modem and have SYNC Location set to 'on' to use this feature.

11. Pre-collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking detects pedestrians, but not in all conditions, and can help avoid or reduce a collision. Intersection Assist does not detect all vehicles in intersection, pedestrians or cyclists. These do not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for Limitations.

12. Adaptive Cruise Control has a minimum operating speed of 30km/hr.

13. Reverse Brake Assist functions when in reverse and travelling at a speed of 2-12 km/h.
